Superb set of three cut crystal champagne flutes from the Saint-Louis crystalworks, Tommy pattern.
Representative of the manufacturer's expertise, these glasses feature diamond, almond, fillet, cord, and pearl cuts on the bowl, as well as a star-cut stem.
The pattern was created in 1928 for the dinner hosted by President Albert Lebrun at the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles, in honor of the British Allies of World War I, whose soldiers were affectionately nicknamed "Tommies." Stamped Saint-Louis.
