An Aubergine "brinjal" Bowl - China, 17th Kangxi Period

A biscuit‑enamelled ‘Brinjal’ porcelain bowl, of conical form with aubergine glaze. The exterior is decorated with incised sprays of flowers in enamelled white, yellow and green. The interior is adorned with a central lingzhi motif. (Sold with its wood stand).
