An important Rose Famille enamelled porcelain wine cooler. The body is decorated with flowers, notably peonies, as well as bamboo branches and various flowers.
The neck of the cooler is decorated with a frieze that repeats the decoration on the body, against a background of brown enamel motifs. On either side are two shell-shaped handles.

This wine cooler is particularly large, contrary to the models regularly seen, and could almost be used as a cache pot.

Excellent overall condition, with minor enamel loss and some chipping and sintering to the handles, some firing cracks under the handles, some scratches to the enamel in places.
