Formed on a hemp base, they are covered on the outside with chain mail and decorated with gadrooned plates and rectangular lacquered iron discs and plates.
The hand protection consists of four parts: the first covers the phalanges with five rivets securing the Mon; the thumbs are in two parts with two Mon; and the first third of the hand is formed of a rectangular plate with three Mon and chain mail.
The inner part is made of silk applied to hemp, with a laced gold fabric border.
At the top, there is a steel plate with traces of “Kanmuri ita” lacquer, pierced with holes for the cord and olive-shaped horn buttons.
Good overall condition; damage to the lacquer.
