Wood, hide, nails, remnants of fabric
Total length: 78 cm
Width: 27.5; Height: 31 cm
An oval-shaped cradle consisting of a hollowed-out wooden plank, fitted with leather panels to close it and cover the wooden hoop at the head end. Remnants of red fabric are secured with nails.
The edges are adorned with leather straps and a longer, wider shoulder strap.
These baby carriers are examples of everyday objects passed down from generation to generation.
