Art Deco Lavalliere Necklace In Gold, And Jadeite Carved Butterfly
This delicate yellow gold necklace features a central oval plaque of carved green jadeite engraved with a butterfly amidst flowers and foliage.
The plaque is set with four prongs on a gold frame and bordered by a row of tiny pearls. The chain is attached to the plaque and adorned with four flat, intricately worked shuttle links interspersed with two small jadeite beads.
The chain, alternating between short and long, fine oval links, is meticulously textured.
It has an antique-style spring ring clasp marked 14k.
