"Cut Crystal And Silver-gilt Snuffbox Or Pill Box, Restoration Period"
This sparkling little round box is made of cut crystal and engraved with grids. Probably a Baccarat manufacture. The interlocking mount is in gold-plated silver and bears two hallmarks: Hare's head in a rim (1819-1838) Square hallmark inscribed DOUBLÉ. The crystal is in perfect condition and it closes perfectly, the vermeil (gold-plated) is very bright without wear. Small dents in the vermeil rim.
SUPERB CONDITION, Restoration period 1819-1838.
