Splendid box made of fine veneered wood, with refined geometric inlays with dark fillets and linear motifs along the sides and lid.

The top is embellished with a highly decorative central root, framed by an intricate inlaid border.

The edges and base are finished with ebonized frames that enhance the color contrast.

The front features the original lock and key.

The interior houses a small round mirror with an ebonized frame and a removable six-compartment container for personal items, jewelry, or documents.

The item rests on non-original modern display stands.

Condition: Very good, with minor signs of aging consistent with its age.
