The piece opens with two central glazed doors, framed by molded and gilded bronze moldings, revealing an interior fitted with adjustable shelves, ideal for books or collectibles. On either side, two solid doors showcase superb mahogany with a rich, deep grain. The whole is enhanced by finely chased gilt bronze ornamentation: palmettes, vegetal friezes, and motifs inspired by antiquity, arranged with restraint and elegance. The slightly projecting, straight cornice and the base resting on tapered legs give this piece a strong architectural presence.
