"Pair Of 19th Century Sicilian Empire Period Bedside Tables"
Elegant and unique pair of 19th-century Empire-period bedside tables from Sicily. They are made of semi-slab mahogany and have the shape of small console tables. The upper section features a drawer under the top, supported by turned columns with gilded capitals on the front and straight bands on the back, joined by a mixtilinear base. The elongated onion-shaped legs are partially decorated and the upper surface is inset Alpine green marble. It should be noted that these two bedside tables can serve a dual purpose: they can be used as bedside tables or as small console tables in smaller spaces, given their compact dimensions, both in width and, especially, depth.
