"Fratelli Crosio Chromatic Accordion"
Chromatic accordion in marbled white celluloid, mother-of-pearl keys and red bellows. Left hand: 80 bass keys and a 12-bass chromatic keyboard with two registers and a register to switch from standard bass to chromatic bass across the entire keyboard. Right hand: 64 keys. Italy, 1960s-70s.
Good condition: needs attention, worn straps, period case.wear points.
The Fratelli & Crosio factory, founded by brothers Ettore and Mario Crosio, manufactured high-quality accordions. It was established in 1934 in Stratella, Italy, and closed its doors in 1995, after being acquired in 1975.
