Watercolor on paper depicting cows in a rural landscape by the sea, signed AL Guigné, black and gold painted wooden frame. Watercolor in very good condition.Alexis Eugêne Guigné (1839-1916) landscape painter, student of Jules Noël, exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1868 to 1912. He mainly painted watercolors depicting landscapes by the water, notably Normandy landscapes. This watercolor, perhaps, represents a landscape of Lower Normandy. The dimensions indicated are those of the frame.
