Silvio Pasotti (1934) is an Italian artist born in Bergamo. He trained at the Carrara Academy in Bergamo then joined the Italian Institute of Applied Arts in 1951. He lived in Spain and France between 1953 and 1957. First exhibition in Bergamo in 1955. In 1958, he joined a group of Milanese architects. In 1964, he discovered American Pop Art which would have a decisive influence on the rest of his artistic career.
