Conical brass body, three Périnet valves and on the bell a device unique to this instrument: a disengageable system fitted with a silk membrane to obtain a mirliton sound effect.
Signed on a nickel silver shield on the bell.

This instrument is part of a family ranging from soprano to double bass, invented by François SUDRE (1844 - 1912) and patented in 1892 (N ° 219518). The sound is close to that of the saxhorn.
