Beautiful large thick porcelain platter, 40cm in diameter, weight: 2.5kg, richly decorated from colored enamels and gold, offering an "educational" composition.
Two scrolls (kakemono) unfurl in opposition against a pebbled background of multicolored wooden blocks, where two tiger fights are depicted.
One scroll shows a master and his two disciples traveling near Mount Fuji (a beautiful gold background).
The second scroll, poetic, is a lakeside scene with a flock of migrating birds.
Good condition, minor enamel chips on one kakemono and two wooden blocks.
