Spectacular 19th-century Orientalist clock in gilt and silvered spelter depicting a horseman holding a lance pointed at a lion
White enamel dial with Roman numerals "Au remontoir à Auvers-sur-Oise".
Numbers 9 and 56 stamped on the back of the base, along with the "Thais-Deprez" mark.
Untested mechanism.
With pendulum, key missing.

Very good overall condition, minor restoration (soldering) on the horse's right bit; the rider figure moves if handled roughly but remains perfectly in place
