Elegant gilt bronze clock richly decorated with cloisonné enamels, Napoleon III period, attributed to the renowned Barbedienne house for its quality
The circular gilt bronze dial features enameled Roman numerals on a gold background, surrounding a finely openworked central decoration enameled with blue and white motifs. It is signed "Dellarue à Rouen".
The case adopts a particularly decorative spherical shape, entirely enhanced with cloisonné enamel plaques featuring stylized floral motifs in deep blue, turquoise and white tones, typical of the Orientalist taste of the second half of the 19th century.
The set rests on an architectural base embellished with two charming gilded bronze putti, seated on either side, bringing a touch of grace and movement to the composition. The base is highlighted by a matching cloisonné enamel frieze.
The top is adorned with an elegant bronze bouquet of flowers, completing this refined decorative piece.
