Orientalist "sultana" Clock — 19th Century
A gilded and patinated bronze clock depicting a woman wearing a turban and holding a fan, seated on a feline pelt. The base is decorated with foliage, a crescent moon, and a peacock, and rests on claw feet. Presumed to be French, circa 1830, based on comparable pieces examined.
