Luigi Cochetti (Rome, 1802-1884) was a 19th-century Roman painter and a pupil of Vincenzo Camuccini and Tommaso Minardi at the Accademia di San Luca. His works are reminiscent of neoclassical painting, so much so that he can be considered one of the most prominent representatives of that period.
The painting will be included in the monograph on the artist edited by Dr. Anna Cochetti.
