"Coral And Vermeil Bracelet, 19th Century. "
This vermeil and coral bracelet features a substantial ratchet clasp. At its center is a medallion adorned with a female figure. Five rows of coral beads encircle the wrist, and it is suspended from a fine safety chain. It is in good overall condition; however, the slightly darker coral beads have likely been replaced. Each element of the bracelet is stamped with a boar's head, the hallmark used from 1838 onward. A lozenge-shaped maker's mark is present on the clasp, but its identification has been unknown. Louis Philippe period. Wrist circumference: 18.5 cm.
