Antique French Neo-gothic Reliquary Containing A First-class Relic Of The True Christ

A French antique copper/brass reliquary, a container for relics, and its accompanying theca (reliquary).
The theca contains a relic of the True Cross, the cross upon which Jesus Christ was crucified.
The inscription on the theca reads "LIGNUM SANCTISSIME DOMINI NOSTRI JESU CHRISTI," which translates to "Wood of Our Most Holy Lord Jesus Christ."
The back of the theca is sealed with a red wax seal, confirming the relic's authenticity.

The set includes the following parts:
Reliquary with lid
Reliquary storage box
Reliquary, stamped with red lacquer, threads complete and intact
Small stamped note (lacquer not intact)
Dated note with amended date and referring to the French city of Lyon
