Large Baccarat crystal wine decanter, a luxurious model in red overlay crystal, dating from the late 19th/early 20th century. The decanter is a well-known model, identified in Baccarat catalogs as the Compiègne or Malmaison service (the decanter is the same for both services). The red color is extremely rare. This is the first of its kind we have acquired in 20 years. The decanter is in excellent condition, with no damage. The crystal is crystal clear and free of cloudiness. The neck may have been recut. Height: 29 cm
