Game or token box in amboyna burl marquetry, ebony or blackened wood, mother-of-pearl and brass threads, Napoleon III period - mid / late 19th century. Unsigned, work in the style of Tahan, Maison Alphonse Giroux or an equivalent. Rarely, it is equipped with a music box movement that is wound with a key underneath. Beautiful floral cartouche in Boulle marquetry (brass and mother-of-pearl). Our box is complete with its 4 sets of bone tokens in 4 colors, a set of dice and score counters. The cartouche is free of any monogram: you can engrave it with your number or coat of arms. Perfect condition, original French polish that has been cleaned. No missing veneer or decoration.
