"Louis XV Style Cardboard Box, 19th Century "
A Louis XV style marquetry cabinet, with a serpentine shape, inlaid in rosewood and amaranth, dating from the 19th century. The upper section comprises five niches. The lower section opens with two side doors, revealing four compartments on each side, surmounted by small writing surfaces covered in green leather tooled in gold. Both sections are highlighted with gilt bronze moldings and galleries. The cabinet is mounted on a plinth. It measures 134 cm in height, 92 cm in length at the lower section, and 86 cm at the upper section. The depth is 30 cm. It is in very good condition.
