Antique Umbrella From The Napoleon III Era, Circa 1860
Antique umbrella. The canvas has been replaced with beautiful brocaded silk, so this parasol is in excellent condition and ready for use. Attractive turned wooden handle with a bone tip. A metal ring allows it to be folded in half for storage or for easier transport in a carriage. It measures 30,31 inches long when closed and approximately 21,65 inches in diameter when open. France, circa 1860.
