Antique Umbrella, Good Condition, Circa 1850
Antique umbrella. The lower part of the handle is carved bone, the upper part in wood. The original black silk canvas lined with a blue background has been changed with a similar silk. This umbrella is therefore in very good condition and can be used. A metal ring allows it to be folded in half, which at the time allowed it to be folded to get into a cab more easily. It measures 22,83 inches long closed and approximately 23,62 inches in diameter open. France, circa 1850.
