Arthur Boris Klein, known as O’Klein, 1893–1985. Humorous engraving on vellum paper, signed in pencil and framed, from the series “Les chiens de Paris” (also known as “Dirty Dogs of Paris”), titled “Profanateur.” Frame dimensions: 20,47 inches x 9,45 inches.

The prints are in very good condition, with slight wear on the frames.

A French painter and illustrator born in Moscow in 1893, Arthur Boris O’Klein achieved success in the 1930s with his humorous anthropomorphic engravings depicting mainly cats and dogs, notably this series on the behavior of dogs in “public restrooms.”
