"Hussar Saber Type 1777 Revolutionary Manufacture"
Brass hilt with a single guard branch, long pommel, wooden grip covered in sheepskin. Copper rivet. Curved blade with fullers and traces of original polishing. Flat back marked "À VIENNE" (Republican workshop). Blade length: 84 cm. Width at the ricasso: 3.5 cm. Wooden scabbard covered in leather (stitched on the upper part) with copper fittings and an iron chape. Copper chape engraved "IV". Signs of wear on the scabbard, but very good overall condition.
