Exquisite Art Nouveau set of 10 solid silver and vermeil tea/dessert spoons, circa 1900, in the rare "Thistle" pattern. Each piece bears the French Minerva 1st Standard hallmark (.950) and the maker's mark of silversmith Boulenger. This exquisite Art Nouveau set is in good overall condition with minor scratches from use. It features the rare "Thistle" pattern, one of the finest examples of French silverware from this period, circa 1900. See the attached photos for details. This rare "Thistle" pattern by Boulenger is listed several times in David Allan's reference work, which catalogs the most beautiful French silverware designs of the 19th century.
