Elegant circular opalescent glass plate, "Ondines" pattern created by René Lalique in 1921. The rim is richly decorated with six nude nymphs undulating around the central basin, in a circular movement typical of Lalique's Art Deco vocabulary. LALIQUE FRANCE under the base, number 3003 Diameter: approx. 27.7 cm Condition: Beautiful opalescence, very present bluish hues. Traces and micro-scratches from use, especially visible in raking light on the background. No chips or cracks
