"Paris Porcelain Service Circa 1840."
An important Paris porcelain dinner service, decorated with bouquets and scattered flowers, entirely hand-painted. Made in the 1840s, this very complete set is inspired by the finest productions of the Sèvres manufactory in the 18th century. Each plate is unique. The set, in good condition with some wear to the gilding, comprises: a large tureen, a deep dish, a platter (wear in the center), a pair of square platters, a rare pair of vegetable dishes, a set of 10 soup plates (2 slightly chipped), and an exceptional set of 24 dinner plates. Dimensions of the plates: 23 cm high, tureen: 30 cm high, and vegetable dishes: 15 cm high.
