First Half Of The 19th Century Porcelain Tête à Tête Coffee Set
Refined coffee set in Old Paris porcelain from the Restoration period, featuring elegant gilded and painted decorations. The set is a tête à tête, consisting of a coffee pot, two cups, and two saucers. The decoration features lively landscapes with countryside and lakesides, framed in gold. Geometric plant motifs adorn the rest of the surface against a purple-red background, with references to the Pompeian style, especially on the cups, where grotesque elements depicting swans are found. The gold leaf gilding, also found inside the cups, completes the decoration, enriching the workmanship and lending elegance to the set. This is a unique set, capable of furnishing any setting with taste and refinement. French manufacture, from the Restoration period, likely Paris, from the first half of the 19th century.
