An antique "litron"-shaped cup from King Louis-Philippe’s table service, originating from the Tuileries Palace.
It is made of midnight-blue glazed porcelain, decorated with friezes of ivy leaves and gold fillets.
“LP” monogram beneath a royal crown, surrounded by a wreath of laurel and oak leaves.
Stamped by the Tuileries Palace.
Blue mark: “Sèvres 1846.”
Green mark: “SV LP 46.”
Very good condition. A chip on the rim of the saucer, located on the underside.
Cup: 6.5 cm high / 6.5 cm in diameter.
Saucer: 13 cm in diameter.
