Typically neoclassical, this beautiful octagonal planter is decorated with finely chiseled and patinated bronzes. The catches with lion heads wearing Egyptian style overhang claw feet placed under the cornices. Solid mahogany body (small gaps in the cornice visible on photo). England, first half of the 19th century. Interior dimension: 35 cm.
