Pair of low chairs with straw seat. Solid oak frame. Work from the 1940s, attributed to Charles Dudouyt. Famous French designer and decorator based on Boulevard Raspail in Paris. His workshop and store, called "La gentilhommière", produced and sold furniture with pure forms, often tinged with Africanism, and also exhibited the works of the great designers of his time, such as Jean Després, Alexandre Noll and Georges Jouve.
