A Set Of Eight Chairs From The 1950s.
A beautiful set of black-lacquered wooden chairs with gold-trimmed panels. The round backrest is elegantly suspended between two turned wooden columns. The oval seat rests on a wide, curved band along the sides. Spring-supported upholstery, covered in a cotton fabric with an oriental pattern. (Three pieces of fabric are torn and peeling on the seats, as well as on one backrest.) Woodwork in perfect condition. The chairs were likely custom-made by an interior designer during the 1950s.
