Large Armchair With A Flat Back, Dating From The Louis XV Period.
A fine armchair, described as "provincial nobility's," decorated with a stylized fleur-de-lis on the front rail and a shield-shaped back. The rail is undulating and curved. The upholstery has been restored and covered in ecru linen. The wood is lacquered with highlights. Provence, circa 1750.
