Important marquetry panel representing a landscape probably Breton, made from many types of wood. Signed Rosenau lower right. After an apprenticeship in the Gallé workshops, Pierre Rosenau settled in the Faubourg St Martin in Paris where he mainly and virtuously produced this type of panel. To hang or to use as a table top, this large panel has just been completely re-varnished to give it its original luster. Panel and marquetry in perfect condition. France, circa 1920 - 1930.
