Pair Of Louis XVI Period Armchairs.
Attractive pair of lacquered wood armchairs from the Louis XVI period. Grooved and fluted baluster armrests attached to trapeze-shaped backs. Some minor differences between the two armchairs, stamped Pierre Othon. A carpenter who received his master's degree on January 8, 1760, and worked on rue des vieux Augustins in Paris until 1785. Upholstery restored and covered with a pretty ecru linen.
