Paris porcelain dessert set (Fabrique Rousseau) with polychrome floral decoration and a gold border,
Set includes:
12 plates, one fruit bowl, one large jam dish with a covered, attached tray, one display stand on a pedestal, and 3 other bowls.
Diameter: 22.5 cm - Length of jam dish: 29 cm - Height: 12.5 cm - Height of the tall bowl: 11.5 cm - Height of the fruit bowl: 7 cm - Height of the 3 bowls: 4.5 cm.
In good condition, with slight wear (see photos). Just one restored chip on the rim of the jam jar’s lid.
Rousseau marks in red: 3 rue Coquillère.
Circa 1840–50
The Rousseau factory was located at 3 rue Coquillère in Paris.
