A small, bowl-shaped trinket dish in yellow glass, reminiscent of Charles X period opaline glass.
The openwork silver-plated metal mount is finely decorated with winged sphinxes flanking a large flaming urn and cornucopias, with an egg-and-dart frieze at the top.
Height 7 to 7.5 cm – diameter 11.5 cm.
Good condition, with minor scratches and traces of oxidation on the base of the mount.
Bears a silversmith's mark, T & C, surmounted by three stars.
