This large wool rug, measuring 250 cm x 345 cm, is aMoroccan rug from Rabat known as a Rbati rug.
Inspired by Persian rugs, it features a large, richly decorated, multi-lobedmedallion in the center, surrounded by a large, solid field of veryvibrant scarlet red.
Wide border echoing the colors of the central medallion.
Handwoven with very tight knots; wide fringe measuring 12cm.
Good condition; slight, barely noticeable sun-fading intwo corners (see photos)
