Elegantly carved walnut chair with a rounded back and legs inspired by plant motifs. A small office chair or harpist's chair, perhaps in the Victorian English style, this is a masterpiece by a journeyman craftsman, dating from the Art Nouveau period of the late 19th to early 20th centuries. This chair is in good condition and of remarkable quality. It does not swivel, and the seat is very narrow. Note: some minor damage and traces of restoration (particularly on the leg), some scratches and signs of age, see photos.
