"Dutch Masterwork Desk/writing Desk With Floral Marquetry, Early 19th Century"
                    
                    A Dutch master's desk/scriban, in rosewood and various wood veneers, richly decorated with floral baskets and other flowers and foliage, opening to reveal a drawer at the bottom, a drop-front revealing compartments and small drawers, finely chased gilt bronze mounts, dating from the early 19th century. This piece is in good condition and of remarkable quality. We have its key. Two pull-out slides protrude from the front to support the open drop-front. Please note: a small chip and loss of veneer on the front side of the drawer, a few small cracks, minor losses of marquetry, scratches, and signs of age; please examine the photos carefully.
