Antique Silver Plated Centerpiece Trumpet Flower Holder, Art Nouveau
England, circa 1900, Art Nouveau period.
Magnificent Art Nouveau centerpiece, a silver-plated metal Epergne or flower holder, composed of six small trumpet-shaped holders and one large one.
With its wire support and bold design, it is a truly avant-garde piece, still remarkably modern today.
Unmarked, but probably made in Birmingham.
In good condition, complete, though showing normal wear to the plating. Uncleaned. Personal choice.
Dimensions: 38 x 20 x 19 cm (overall) / trumpet diameters: 21 and 14.5 cm / weight: approximately 1.2 kg
