" Late 19th Century Pair Of Meucci Still Lifes"
Charming pair of oil paintings on canvas, framed in carved and gilded wood. The paintings depict two still lifes, with summer and autumn fruits such as grapes, watermelons, melons, lemons, plums, peaches, pomegranates, figs, and pears, accompanied by a basket, leaves, and a flask of wine, and placed on a marble table. The artist's signature, along with the date and location, is inscribed at the bottom right: "M. Meucci -1899 - Florence."
