Incompletely applied control mark: crowned FF / (FERT)E MACE / 16(91).
Unpublished, incompletely applied mark of Louis DUPONT, received as a master around 1740: crowned initials LD.
Length: 22.7 cm.
LA FERTE-MACE, mid-18th century.

Unpublished maker's mark identified thanks to recent archival research.
Extremely rare provenance, second recorded production from this small Lower Normandy center in half a century.
In very good condition; the object is hallmarked in three places: on both handles and on the outer base of the bowl.
