This colored terracotta figure of an Arab woman was made in the late 19th century by the Austrian entrepreneur, terracotta and bronze manufacturer Friedrich Goldscheider (1845 Slabetz/Bohemia - 897 Nice, France).

He founded his manufactory in Vienna under the name "Goldscheidersche Porzellan-Manufactur und Majolica-Fabrik" in 1885.
