Biscuit group, charming gallant scene in Louis XV style representing a young woman sitting on a bench lecturing a love. The scene takes place in a rocky landscape. Manufacture Nationnale de Sèvres, the sculpture is dated (1911) and signed. Ideal to complete an 18th century decoration; these decorative objects are typical of this period, to be placed on a chest of drawers or fireplace in addition to a clock or on a festive table for a refined dinner. It is a piece decorated from all angles, intended to be seen from all sides in the center of a table for example or with its back to a mirror. A very large number of biscuit groups were produced throughout the 19th century, copying Sèvres. Our group is an authentic piece from the very prestigious Manufacture de Sèvres. Very fine representation in accordance with the criteria of perfection of Sèvres, with many careful details: facial expressions, details of clothing. Perfect condition, no accidents or missing parts.
