Louis XVI Style Giltwood Corner Armchair, Caned Seat, 19th Century
Amusing corner armchair in gilded and caned wood in the Louis XVI style, late 19th century. Our seat has a lovely, lively work on the backrest, the center of which, although forming the corner of the armchair, is harmoniously composed of a caned medallion surrounded by a frieze of ribbons and topped with flowers. The armrests have a double caning giving a beautiful relief to the whole. Finally, the lower part is composed of a square seat supported by four fluted legs. The whole is in very good condition, the caning has no accidents. Very decorative, this seat will bring an original and refined touch.
